FDC Tax Department Graduate/Trainee Opportunities
Responsibilities
As a Trainee, you will assist our tax consultants in various tasks, including:
- Preparation and filing of tax returns
- Preparation of notes on client interactions
- Review, research, and interpretation of tax legislation, Revenue guidance, and published papers
- Recording data and spreadsheet analysis of tax outcomes
- Preparation of taxation plans and responding to client queries
- Client invoicing and accounts receivable collections
- Scheduling of case workloads
- Assisting in the administration of client files, including compliance with GDPR and Anti-Money Laundering Legislation
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold an Honours Primary Degree (obtained or predicted) and are interested in a career in Taxation
- Are interested in a rewarding long-term career with one of the most established groups in rural Ireland
- Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Are highly motivated, enthusiastic, confident, and self-starting
- Are flexible and well-organised
- Are natural team players, comfortable working closely in a team environment
- Demonstrate a commitment to obtaining a professional qualification
