FDC Charity Fund: St John of God Charity – FDC Tax Department Ltd

FDC Tax Department Ltd is proud to support St John of God, a charitable organisation that helps people in Ireland from all walks of life through a diverse range of services. 

Regarding their mission, the charity says, “Our dedicated and devoted staff and volunteers are privileged to support thousands of people, across many diverse services, to live their best lives; to realise their full potential and embrace every possibility of life.” 

St John of God helps children and adults with intellectual disability, and to children, adolescents and adults with mental ill health. The organisation supports approximately 8,000 children and adults annually with over 3,000 staff and volunteers. 

Your kindness and support will enhance the lives of the children and their families in our care. Your donation will go towards supplying much needed sensory equipment and IT equipment for non-verbal children and adults in our services and schools as well as support for the families. 

Sonya Lawler, Community & Corporate Fundraising Executive for St John of God Charity, mentioned the immense range of services the charity offers saying, “We have a variety of services under St John of God from Dementia care to respite services for children with life limiting conditions and complex medical needs. We raise funds to improve the quality of life for children and adults living with intellectual disabilities and mental health challenges. We provide a number of specialist therapies including occupational therapy, play and music therapy and psychology. We provide information support and education to families and carers all around Ireland.” 

Sonya Lawler, Community & Corporate Fundraising Executive for St John of God Charity, commented on FDC’s donation saying, “Your kindness and support will enhance the lives of the children and their families in our care.
