FDC Charity Fund

FDC is committed to giving back to the community and making a positive impact on the World. Through our FDC Charity Fund, we support a range of charitable causes both locally and globally. Since our inauguration in 2005 we have donated over €420,000 to various charities, with a focus on supporting programmes that promote sustainable access to food, health and education.

Our Charitable Contributions

At FDC, we believe that giving back is an essential part of being a responsible businessThat is why we set up the FDC Charity Fund in 2005, with the goal of making a positive impact on  the world.

Our Partnership with Concern Worldwide

One of the primary organisations we support is Concern Worldwide, which is dedicated to improving the lives of people living in extreme poverty. Since 2012, we have sponsored a village in Malawi, contributing towards 30,000 poor and vulnerable households achieving adequate and sustainable access to food and natural resources. In 2020, we funded a Health and Nutrition Centre in South Sudan, which unfortunately was later destroyed by a flood. Additionally, we funded the construction of the  Tongdol Primary Health Care Centre (PHCC), as well as improved sanitation facilities. In 2025, we are honoured to sponsor the Burkina Faso project.

Local Charities We Support

In addition to our global initiatives we are also dedicated to giving back to the local communities across Ireland. The following are just a few of who we have donated to through the years, Simon Community, Pieta House, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Parkinson’s Ireland,  St. Vincent De Paul, Special Olympics Ireland, Marymount, ARC House, Crumlins Children Hospital, Laura Lynn Foundation, various Hospices across the Country, there are many more.

All these charities were supported through Payroll Giving and FDC Group are proud to match every Euro donated by our staff.

Giving back to organisations like this, where people are going above and beyond every day to help others, is exceptionally important to us.
